cmoore is an American painter, illustrator, writer, and art instructor. She was born to Dr. YS and Rev. Patsy Moore in Omaha, Nebraska in 1953. In the early 1970’s, Albaugh studied painting with Keith Jacobshagen at the University of Nebraska. Jacobshagen is an artist well known for his Midwestern landscape paintings. She later moved to California to further pursue her artistic career, and studied at California College of the Arts in Oakland, CA. During her time there, Albaugh studied with watercolor artist Bill Dubin. From 1976 to 1978, Albaugh studied with Thomas Leighton and Marjory Lester Leighton in their private San Francisco studio. In 1977, Albaugh studied with Mel Ramos at the University of California Hayward. Between 1987-89, she studied Classical Realism at Atelier LeSueur, Excelsior, MN with Kurt Anderson & Lisa Bormann. Albaugh then opened her own atelier at the Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park, CA. Presently, Albaugh continues to making her living as an artist, working primarily in oil painting.
